If you notice yourself having difficulty getting your pitch shots into the air or hitting them crisply this may be due to allowing your dominate hand to scoop or collapse
before impact with the ball. The target hand should ideally be flat at impact for all shots in golf. The pitch shot is not any different.
Try putting a roller blade or bowling wrist guard on
your target hand. You basically want to limit the range of wrist motion when pitching. You can even pretend that you have to make that shot with your wrist in a cast.
